The design team will review comments and questions received through this open house before finalizing the project design.
The right-of-way acquisition process will begin in the final phase of design. A Right-of-Way agent will notify and individually work with each impacted property owner to obtain necessary right-of-way and/or easements.
Once the final design is approved, the project will be advertised and accept contractor bids. The contract will then be recommended to the Board of County Commissioners for award.
Construction must take place during the months of July-September when fish will be least impacted by the work and water levels are lowest. The road will be closed for about four-to-six weeks while the bridge is replaced and culvert is installed.
